Step 1: Online Application
Complete the online application. The online application includes biographical information, a student questionnaire, and an application fee of $40.
Step 2: Schedule a Shadow Visit
Prospective students are encouraged to spend a day at Holy Names by shadowing a current student. While on campus, they will attend classes, meet our students and teachers, and complete an interview with the Admissions Director. Schedule your visit using the online calendar in your AHN account or contact the Admissions Office at 518-438-7895, ext. 202, or email email@example.com, for assistance in scheduling a visit.
Step 3: Register for the Entrance/Scholarship Exam
The Entrance Exam is given in November and March. There are several academic scholarships available to students entering Grades 6 and 9 which are basedsolely on scores fromthe November exam.
Yes. Middle School students can complete the following High School courses:
French I and Spanish I
Studio in Art
In the High School, 7 Advanced Placement and 10 University in the High School courses offer college credit. Our Science Research Program provides motivated students 3 years of unmatched, hands-on, guided research experience. See the Academics section of this website for more curriculum details.
Yes. There are academic scholarships for students entering Grades 6 and 9 based solely on the November Entrance Exam. Financial aid is available for qualified students who otherwise might not be able to attend AHN. See the Financial Aid page for more information.
Yes. Most area school districts provide free bus service to Holy Names. Also, there is private Northway transportation for students in the Clifton Park/Saratoga area. This service is provided by Christian Brothers Academy (CBA). See the Tuition page for details.
