Endowment

The Endowment Fund at AHN is the foundation for long-term stability,  making a lasting impact for future students, faculty and staff. Gifts to the endowment will be invested and held in perpetuity as they grow over time. The interest earned can be used for scholarships, faculty enrichment, and the growth of Holy Names.
For the past 50 years, Mary Anne Vigliante has dedicated her life to impacting the lives of young women in the Capital Region. It is estimated that more than 2,700 young women have graduated from Academy of the Holy Names in the 50 years Mary Anne has been affiliated with the school.

At Spring Gala 2019, guests were invited to make a Paddle Raise gift to the Academy of the Holy Names Endowment to establish The Mary Anne Vigliante Endowed Scholarship for Educational Excellence. The goal was to raise $50,000 to initiate the scholarship. It was thrilling to witness
the excitement in the ballroom as paddles continued to rise up and more than $80,000 was contributed!

Efforts are now underway to raise an additional $45,000 to bring the total scholarship fund to $125,000. Then, the interest earned annually on that amount can be giving yearly as a scholarship of approximately $5,000 to a deserving student.

If you would like to participate in ensuring that Ms. Vigliante’s legacy of educational excellence lives on for generations to come, please make your gift today by clicking here.

As a special tribute to Ms. Vigliante, please take a moment when making your gift online to add a special note, remembrance, or message to her on the gift form. These messages will be collected for a memory book to be given to Mary Anne before the end of her 50th year at Holy Names. Thank you Ms. Vigliante for your ongoing dedication and here's to the next 50 years!
