News from Holy Names

  • Soccer Team #3 in the State!

    Holy Names capped its regular-season campaign with a resounding 11-0 victory at Albany. Earlier in the day, the Colonial Council champions landed the No. 1 seed for the Section II Class B Tournament. Holy Names (15-1), ranked No. 3 in the state, received a first-round bye. It will play host to the winner between No. 9 Schuylerville and No. 8 Catholic Central on Saturday in the quarterfinals
  • Time for a selfie!

    Capital Campaign Launched

    On Wednesday, September 12, 2018, Academy of the Holy Names launched the Invest. Inspire. Ignite. Capital Campaign, the first campaign since 2001. The goal of the campaign is to raise $2.5 million for reconstruction of the North Classroom Wing and safety improvements to the entryway and facade.
  • Students Attend Justice Forum

    Four students, Madison Geddes, Judaea Whittingham, Claudia Vogel, and Olivia Poole, along with Associate Head of School Phyllis Morrison, attended the August 2018 6-day SNJM Youth Justice Forum in Oakland, CA.

The event kicked off with an inspiring message from Ashley Miller, a sports photojournalist at News Channel 13. Ashley is pictured here speaking with students during the fair.
